3Days / 2Nights to Mandalay, Inle & Yangon

Day 01 
Nay Pyi Taw – Mandalay (by Coach)

After Breakfast, you will be proceeding to Mandalay which is famous for its rich traditional, cultural and exquisite handicrafts. It takes about 3 and half hours to reach Mandalay and you will travel on the Nay Pyi Taw Expressway. On arrival, visit famous Mahamuni Pagoda. And, enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Then, transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Afternoon highlights are Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda, often called the world’s largest book and Kyauktawgyi Pagoda. Finish your tour by visiting Mandalay Hill, the natural watch-tower for the visitors to watch sunrise or sunset over the city plains. After having Dinner at outside local restaurant, back to the hotel and Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay (L/D)

(Mandalay is located 668 km north from Yangon and the last capital of the Burmese Kingdom. Mandalay embodies all the elements of Myanmar’s ancient educational, social and cultural system yet the city is also heavily influenced by the Chinese who have relocated here since the Burma foreign trade restrictions were eased.)


Day 02 

Mandalay - Heho (by flight) – Inle Lake (by Boat)

After an early Breakfast, you will be transferred to the Nyaung U airport for your early flight to Heho.  On arrival Heho, proceed to Nyaung Shwe where Inle Lake is situated. And then, transfer to hotel by boat for check-in.

After hotel check-in, start Inle Lake sightseeing by boat like unique leg-rowers and scenic beauty, fishing canoes using special methods for fishing and  collecting seaweed, lakebed mud etc to make floating gardens. Then you will visit well known Nga Pe Chaung monastery. Lunch will be at Inn Tha Lay Restaurant  
Afternoon, visit of Indein Village; It is Shwe Indaing pagoda complex 
where one will be totally amaze of ruined stup as from 13” century. After a nice stroll among the pagoda complex, walk back along the bamboo forest to the jetty to take back the boat to Inle Lake.  

This mysterious place is at the end of the marvelous Indein creek, which connected with Inle Lake just after the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. The creek is narrow with many twist and turns. Since the both sides are paddy fields you can see the farmers ploughing and harrowing by water buffaloes. Finally, back to the hotel and enjoy your stay at very nice resort in Inle Lake. Dinner will be hosted at the hotel, (B/L/D)

(Inle Lake is located 1,328 meters above sea level and is approximately 22 km long and 11 km wide at its widest point. The lake is most famous for the extraordinary lives of the people who live on and around it, known as the ‘Intha’. They are famous for their boat rowing technique; using only one leg! There are many villages surrounding the lake and several temples and floating gardens.)

Day 03

​Heho – Yangon (by AM flight) – Departure by PM flight

After a Breakfast, you will have to transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Yangon (The Gate Way of Myanmar). On arrival, explore Yangon City before your departure flight.  
The must Sightseeing is Shwedagon Pagoda; sheathed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1800 carats! Next, visit to the downtown area and have a stroll among the colonial buildings; Sule Pagoda, City Hall, High Court. Enjoy your tea Break at The Strand Hotel. 

Finally, back to the airport and on the way visit to Kabar Aye Pagoda, which is significant for its Sixth Synod which was held in its large compound in 1954, Mahapasana Cave, located in the same compound. Lunch will be at outside local restaurant, (B/L)

(Yangon is with a population of over five million people, Yangon is the bustling former capital of Myanmar. The city boasts verdant parks, beautiful colonial buildings and the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Yangon was declared the capital of Myanmar in the late 19th Century by the British. They rebuilt the town after a fire destroyed it in 1841, hence the colonial influences in the architecture. The British renamed the city Rangoon, however it has been restored to its original Burmese name of Yangon since 1989 when the country was also renamed Myanmar (replacing the British name of Burma).
